Efren Acevedo, 20, told police he was taking out his garbage on the 100 Block of North 7th Street around 12:45 a.m. when four people got out of a red car and started shooting at him.

Acevedo was hit in the right leg by one of the bullets and was taken to Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police were not provided with any descriptions of the suspects.
