Hybrid gangs are relativity new to Seattle. I am struggling to keep up with these new gangs that seem to be starting up frequently. Hybrid gangs may or may not have an allegiance to a traditional color. Hybrid gangs may adopt symbols from both Chicago and Los Angeles gangs. Gang members may change their affiliation from one gang to another. Many of these gangs have merged with existing gangs and formed new ones. A lot of these gangs are diverse in ethnicity and many of these gangs are locally formed and consider themselves to be their own distinct gang with no alliance or ties to Bloods/Crips or Folks/People nation groups.
